Vicon Anavio

A cloud platform for video, access control, and intercom in one desktop and mobile app, with people and color search, person-of-interest alerts, and automated workflows.

Video, doors, and intercom in one app

Anavio runs in the cloud, so there is no recording server to keep up on site. Live video, recorded clips, door activity, and intercom calls sit in one view on a desktop or a phone, and events can set off a response on their own.

  • Video, access control, and intercom in one desktop and mobile app
  • People search across cameras by face, clothing color, or movement
  • Person-of-interest alerts without adding the person as a user
  • Workflows that lock doors, flash camera lightbars, or play a message
  • Clip links that expire, for sharing with police or staff
  • Firmware updates over the air, with no server to maintain

NEXT modular cameras

NEXT puts one to four 4K sensors on one network hub and one cable drop. Each sensor aims and zooms from a browser, records to its own microSD card, and carries microphones, speakers, and lightbars that Anavio can use.

Common questions about Anavio

Do I need a server on site?

No. Anavio runs in the cloud. NEXT cameras connect to it directly and can record to the microSD card in each sensor.

How is Anavio licensed?

Every NEXT sensor includes a Standard Anavio license, which covers the essential features with no recurring per-camera license fee.

Does it handle doors too?

Yes. Anavio manages access control and intercom alongside video, including door schedules, visitor access by link, and lockdown workflows.

Do NEXT cameras have to use Anavio?

No. NEXT also works with most major VMS platforms. Anavio is the option when the site wants video, doors, and intercom in the cloud.
