It depends on how many cameras you have, their resolution, how much activity they see and how much storage is in the recorder. We typically include 30 days by default. If you need more, tell us how many days and we will size the recorder to match. Add cameras to a quote list and the storage planner on the quote page estimates the recorder size.

Unity runs on your own server, so your video stays in your building and under your IT team’s control. Alta runs in the cloud, with no server on site, automatic updates and management from anywhere. Which one fits mostly comes down to where you want your data.
