Every connected camera uses a channel license for recording, people and vehicle analytics, and dashboard access. Premium models (intrusion, loitering, aggression, LPR, fire and smoke, and attribute search) are added per camera only on the lenses that need them.
It depends on the deployment. NexaiQ Cloud has no on-site server: cameras with on-camera storage connect directly. A hybrid system puts a NexaiQ Edge Box on site. An air-gapped system keeps the Edge Box and Cloud Box on your own network.
